I got this hair for my birthday the hair was very soft and still is. The 4.5 inches part did really work very well, I have more options of part my hair. To care for this hair I do not brush it while wet or it will tangle so I go wash the hair let it hair dry out a light dap of leave in conditioner in it then comb it. All together for the price I paid the hair was lovely
